Dashboard

Review today's events, personal working times, tasks and current notices

The Dashboard is your personal Artwork home page. Its main purpose is to answer: What matters to me today? It combines information from the calendar, shift planning, tasks and notifications. The dashboard is a working overview; the underlying information is maintained in the respective feature areas.

The top area links directly to Calendar, Shift plan, Tasks and Notifications. The shift-plan link is only shown if you are allowed to view that area.

Four figures summarise the current day:

FigureWhat it counts
Today's appointmentsToday's events from projects you are working on
Today's shiftsYour shifts and individual working times for today
Notifications todayYour unread notifications received today
Open tasksThe not-yet-completed tasks shown on the dashboard

These figures are personal. A colleague may see different numbers on the same day because project membership, staffing, task assignment and read status are different.

Today's appointments

Event cards are sorted by start time. They show the event type and title or project, start and end or All day, and the room. Open in calendar takes you to the event in the calendar, where additional details can be viewed or edited according to your permissions.

The dashboard does not show every event across the organisation. It shows today's events from projects to which you are assigned. Use the full calendar to review other projects, days or rooms.

Today's shifts and individual times

Shifts today combines your assigned shifts, the individual times applying today and your day duties in chronological order. All-day entries appear at the beginning. Shift cards show the familiar planning context such as project, event, function, time and room where available.

On the shift cards you also see which colleagues are scheduled with you in the shift. If you are a member of the project team, clicking the production takes you directly to the project's shifts tab on the respective day.

The counter includes both shifts and individual times. The section may therefore contain an individual time even if you have no assigned shift. Select To the shift plan to open the full planning view.

Today's notifications

A central organisational announcement may be displayed prominently with a title, text and image. Below it, Artwork shows your unread notifications received today. If there are more than five, use the page controls to move through them.

Notifications can contain links and actions leading to their origin, such as a project, event or shift process. Go to the notifications opens the full notification centre with older messages and your personal settings.

The count can change

Once a notification has been read or otherwise processed, it no longer counts as an unread notice for today. The dashboard is therefore a snapshot of your personal working status.

Next tasks

Artwork shows up to five open tasks assigned directly to you or belonging to one of your own checklists. Tasks with a deadline are ordered by the earliest date first; overdue deadlines are highlighted. You see the task name, description and, where applicable, its project and checklist context.

Use the checkbox to complete a task directly. The project link opens the relevant checklist. Select To the task overview for all tasks, filters and additional editing options.

If information is missing

  • A missing event may mean you are not assigned to its project or that it is not scheduled for today.
  • A missing shift may be caused by its date or staffing assignment.
  • The shift-plan link is hidden without the required permission.
  • The dashboard shows only a selection of open tasks, not necessarily every task.
  • Read or older notifications are available in the notification centre.

If in doubt, check the relevant feature area first. It provides complete filters, date ranges and details.
