My account
Manage your contact details, visibility, display, and password
Open your own profile from the account menu or by selecting yourself in user management. The exact placement of settings depends on your Artwork setup and permissions.
Profile and contact details
Maintain first and last name, position, email address, phone number, a description, and your profile image. The image appears in teams, project responsibilities, tasks, and access assignments.
When changing the image, select a file, review the preview, save it, or remove the current image. The file must not exceed 3,072 KB.
Team memberships are visible on the profile but can only be changed by team managers or administrators.
Language and personal display
Under Personal data → Preferences, the following options are available:
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Application language | Switches the interface between the offered languages |
| High contrast | Increases contrast, especially for event-type colours |
| Email private | Hides your email address from other regular users |
| Phone private | Hides your phone number from other regular users |
| Use Artwork Chat | Enables or disables chat for your account |
Administrators or explicitly authorised roles may still need and be able to see private contact details. Treat these switches as visibility settings inside Artwork, not as a substitute for internal data-protection rules.
Many specialist views also have their own personal display settings, such as calendar fields, shift-plan zoom, column widths, or saved filters. Those are described in the relevant area and do not alter another user's data.
Password and profile image
In the classic My account area, change your password by entering the current password, the new one, and confirmation. It must be at least ten characters and satisfy the on-screen requirements for digits, upper- and lower-case letters, and special characters.
If you no longer know it, use the reset process or contact an administrator. Never share your password.
“My account” versus the user profile
- My account focuses on your own master data, profile image, and password.
- The user profile additionally contains operation plan, work profile, work pattern, contract, work times, compensation days, and overtime.
- Only administrators can change User permissions.
Depending on navigation, some master data appears in both views. Changes affect the same account.
Permanently delete an account
Permanent deletion is available only to suitably authorised people and requires confirmation. Personal settings are lost. First clarify tasks, projects, shifts, responsibilities, and retention requirements with your administrator.
Do not delete for a temporary absence
For vacation, illness, parental leave, or a temporary change of duties, adjust availability, access, or responsibilities. Permanent account deletion is not appropriate.
