Changelog
Update June 2026
Business Intelligence module version 1.0, hour-accurate material availability and many improvements in article planning and inventory.
With this update, the Business Intelligence module goes live in version 1.0. In addition, material availability is now calculated to the hour, and article planning in the inventory gains new filters, groupings and better visualisation.
Business Intelligence
- The Business Intelligence module version 1.0 is live. Projects now have a new "Business Intelligence" tab with the built-in Business Intelligence component. Like the other components, it can be added to any existing tab in the project settings under tab settings.
- In the project settings, the "BI component fields" tab lets you create your own components, which are then displayed at the bottom of the BI component. In the BI component, you can create exports directly and set up templates in order to generate standardised exports for public funding bodies. The BI dashboard gives you an overview across the different projects.
- Important: for performance days and the like to be calculated correctly, the appointment types must be assigned to the BI tags (such as "event day") in the appointment settings, so the system knows which appointment type counts as an event day, for example. Likewise, the default capacity must be entered once in the room settings so you do not have to fill it in per project.
Inventory and material allocation
- Improved article planning overview in the inventory module: material allocations are now visualised directly in article planning, so you can see even better when which article is allocated and when capacity becomes free again.
- Hour-accurate availability: when several material allocations take place on the same day but at different times, they are no longer wrongly counted as overlapping. This hour-accurate calculation now applies consistently in article planning, in the "Create/edit material allocation" window and in the usage side panel. When editing an allocation, the available quantity is also calculated for the actual time window of the allocation, and the allocation currently being edited is no longer deducted from it.
- Colour-coded time highlighting in the usage side panel: when several allocations with relevant times meet on one day, their times are shown in italics and highlighted in colour — red for a genuine time overlap, blue when they are mutually exclusive in time. So you can see at a glance whether bookings clash.
- Filters and grouping in article planning: new filter "show only planned articles". Grouping now starts collapsed and remembers the expanded/collapsed state per user. In addition, the horizontal scrollbar is now permanently visible at the top (no longer only at the bottom end of the table).
- Overbookings more clearly visible: overbookings in the article planning grid are now marked by a coloured cell background instead of only red text.
- Global inventory search with wildcard: the search across all properties (including serial number) now supports the wildcard
*(e.g.*158) and can optionally be restricted to a specific property. - New property data type "Year": in addition to text, number, date etc., there is now the data type "Year" for properties.
- Global property order via drag and drop: in the inventory settings, the order of the properties can be set via drag and drop; it is applied system-wide in all views and windows (including the article detail view).
- Status management in the inventory: the order of the statuses can be adjusted via drag and drop, "Ready for use" is visually highlighted and the sorting is applied consistently everywhere. The status "permanently installed" can now also be recorded with a quantity for articles that are not individually tracked.
- Smaller improvements in the inventory: the note "No properties have been specified" now appears as a neutral note instead of a red error message, and the spacing in the status and property tables has been visually improved. Also fixed: when editing a material allocation from the usage side panel, the window no longer closes accidentally when you click into a field.
- The CRM import can now also fill different contact types in Artwork at the same time (if there is a column for it in the Excel file).
Shift plan and deployment plan
- Visual optimisations to the shift plan day view and the project shift component.
- The list view of the duty roster has been extended with new display options such as "show appointments".
- Project mode in the shift plan: when a project is selected in project mode, the corresponding shift block (shifts of the same project on one day and room) is outlined in pink throughout; shifts of other projects or without a project are dimmed — analogous to the highlighting in the calendar.
- Permissions for "My deployment plan": new permissions "View my deployment plan" and "Subscribe to duty roster calendar". The deployment plan tab in your own profile and the subscribe button only appear with the respective permission. Existing calendar subscriptions remain unaffected.
- PDF export in the shift plan: the shift plan can now be exported as a PDF with its own settings.
