Update July 2026
Reworked inventory filters, more convenient material allocations, lock status in the duty roster, new personnel info box and shift overbooking.
This update brings improvements right across the software: the inventory gets completely reworked filters and a noticeably faster overview, material allocations become more convenient to create, the shift plan shows the lock status more clearly, and the personnel info box with overtime payout as well as shift overbooking add new tools for personnel planning.
Inventory and article planning
- Articles marked as individually tracked in the inventory now also show their properties in the tile view when all devices share the same value for a property. If they do not, the view shows "Different", and hovering reveals the individual values directly in the view — without opening the detail window.
- In the list view, the properties of the articles in a category are now displayed neatly in columns directly below each other, so you can compare values at a glance.
- Via the new display settings in the inventory overview, everyone can hide the article images for themselves — making the lists considerably more compact. The setting applies per user and is remembered.
- The inventory filters have been completely reworked: they now sit in a tidy toolbar with a filter window (as in the calendar), take effect immediately when ticked, and active filters are shown as small chips that can be removed individually. Your own filter combinations can be saved as templates.
- Applied filters now remain active per user — even after reloading the page. And if an active filter leaves no articles in a category, that category is automatically hidden in the left sidebar.
- The sidebar now shows not only the total stock quantity but also the breakdown by individual status (e.g. ready for use, defective).
- Article planning has a new button that expands or collapses all categories at once.
- Article planning has become clearer: calendar weeks are now separated by a clearly visible boundary with the week number right next to it, and categories are more distinctly separated from each other. The material allocation bars no longer run across the article column, and the redundant material allocation icon has been removed, as the bars already convey this information.
- The bug in the article search where loading further articles suddenly produced hits unrelated to the search term has been fixed.
- Inventory performance has been noticeably improved — the overview and browsing through categories now load much faster.
- The naming of the inventory subpages has been unified so that browser tabs and menu items are no longer confusing (among other things, the planning view is now consistently called "Article planning"). In addition, the expanded sidebar now shows the menu subpages directly instead of opening yet another menu.
- New data type "File" for articles in the inventory.
Material allocation
- When you link a material allocation to a project, the project's rooms (read from its appointments) are now offered automatically: if there is only one room, it is assigned directly and the allocation period is set to match the appointments. If there are several rooms, they appear as a clickable selection — clicking a room sets the allocation period to the time span of the appointments in that room.
- In the article search of the material allocation, the Enter key no longer accidentally closes the window.
- New: "Copy material from another material allocation" — when creating a material allocation, you can select an existing allocation by name search, and its articles are then taken over automatically together with their quantities.
- The note of a material allocation is now much more visible in the material allocation component in the project.
Calendar and appointments
- The project search — both in the calendar and in the project overview — now also finds projects by artist name.
- When zooming in the calendar, text and icons in the appointment tiles now scale along, so appointments remain easy to read at any zoom level. The artist name is additionally shown in bold in the appointments.
- Clicking the profile picture of the project lead in an appointment tile once again opens the info window with the contact details.
- Shifts can now be shown directly in the calendar via a display setting — standalone shifts appear there as their own cards between the appointments.
- Several issues in the appointment list (schedule in the project) have been fixed: the weekday next to the start date is displayed correctly again, and changes made in the appointment list now appear in the calendar immediately and automatically, without reloading.
- Coming from project creation, you now see the first row for creating an appointment straight away.
- The "next/previous calendar week, day …" buttons now correctly jump by a whole week.
- In Safari, expanded days were sometimes cut off even though more content was available — this has been fixed.
Shift plan
- The "Fix all shifts" button has been renamed and is now more clearly called "Lock duty roster" — or "Request duty roster approval" if the approval workflow is active in your organisation.
- The calendar week tile per person now shows the lock status of the week in colour: you can see at a glance whether the week has been requested or locked — and whether anything was changed after locking. Matching status icons additionally appear in all shift views.
- Notes and appointment descriptions can now be shown in the shift plan and in the shifts tab. The appointment property icons are now also displayed on appointments in the shift plan.
- For universal shift assignments, you no longer see only the abbreviation of the function (e.g. "AZB") but also the trade the person is deployed in — e.g. "As AZB in SND".
- The employees at the bottom of the shift plan can now additionally be sorted grouped by their functions.
- Clicking the profile picture of a person at the bottom of the shift plan now shows their contact details (email and phone number).
- New permission: you can now control specifically who may see the hour accounts and weekly hours of other people in the shift plan. Everyone still sees their own values, of course. After the update, however, everyone without this permission will initially no longer see the hours — the permission then needs to be granted by the admins.
- The totals for actual and target working time are now labelled more clearly and easier to tell apart.
- After deleting an individual time, the whole page no longer reloads — the affected cell updates directly and much faster.
- "Hide unstaffed days" now works reliably.
- In the compact view, a scrollbar appeared even though there was only one row — fixed.
- The shifts tab of a project has a new button for creating a shift outside the project period.
Deployment plan
- The deployment plan has been visually reworked: clearer separation between days, stronger typography and an altogether tidier appearance.
- Comments on individual times are now also shown in the deployment plan.
- The warning icon for rule violations (e.g. rest periods) now also appears in the deployment plan.
- From the view of a single person, you can now jump directly to the next person via a search field, without the detour back through the overview.
- In "My deployment plan", days off can now also be displayed — including public holiday information.
- The calendar subscription of the deployment plan has been extended: individual times are now included, and the entries now also contain the project name and room name.
- New: monthly overview export of the deployment plan.
- The shift history can now also be viewed in the deployment plan.
Duty roster approval workflow and shift history
- The people in the approval workflow now receive a notification when a new lock request comes in — and likewise when something is changed after a lock.
- In the shift plan requests, you can now conveniently browse back and forth instead of having to open each request individually.
- When accepting a request, a note or comment can now be added (as when rejecting) — the requesting person is notified about it.
- In the request overview, the rooms as well as individual shift notes are now also shown for the shifts.
- The change list (changes after locking) can now be filtered by internal/external, and there is a button to approve all subsequent changes at once.
- The shift history has been sped up and tidied: the window now only loads the data once you actively click the (much more prominent) load button, the header area is more compact, and an info icon explains that "Context" and "Types" are purely filters.
- From a person's day window in the shift plan, you can now jump directly to the shift history with one click — with the day and person already preselected.
Projects
- Next to the project team there is now a group mail button: one click opens your mail programme with the email addresses of all project members (provided the addresses are stored correctly).
- Folders in the project tab now show an indicator icon as soon as at least one of the contained components has been filled — so you can see where content already exists without expanding.
- PDFs and files from projects can now be printed directly, without having to download them first.
- The project properties window has become larger, opens directly and now carries the heading "Project properties".
- The project team has been tidied up: whoever creates a project no longer ends up in the project team automatically, people in roles (e.g. project lead) only appear there, and duplicate entries are no longer possible. The project team window has been reworked overall, and "further rights" is now more clearly called "Permissions".
- New in the profile: every user can store a default project role that is set automatically when they are added to a project.
- The cost bearer can now be edited directly in the component in the project — without the detour through the edit window.
- The export of the shift component now has a timeline along the left edge that shifts and timeline are aligned to, and the page breaks sit much more cleanly.
- Artists in projects can now be linked to your CRM contacts: you see the CRM data in the project.
- Files with problematic characters in their name (e.g. "@") now lead to a clear warning when uploading, instead of silently causing problems.
- The key visual field in the project edit window has become smaller and moved further down.
Rooms
- The room detail page has been reworked and now shows considerably more information and fields.
- In the room overview, you can now filter by properties and categories. The management of room properties has also been reworked.
New personnel info box per user in the shift plan
The shift plan now has an info box per user. There you can see the season-related data at a glance — split into the tabs Season-related data, Compensatory days off, Vacation, Actual hours and Overtime. What exactly is tracked per user can be defined in the profile and in the user contract settings.
View and pay out overtime: In the "Overtime" tab of the info box, you can see open overtime, overtime to be paid out and overtime already paid out, a breakdown per day (with cut-off date and status) as well as a payout history. Authorised people can pay out overtime directly (also partially) — the booking reduces the time account, starting with the oldest overtime. Paying out is protected by its own permission ("Pay out overtime").
Shift overbooking
Overbooking can now be enabled in the shift settings. When it is on, planners can assign more people to a shift than the defined demand provides for. The planned demand remains unchanged, overbooked slots are marked separately (amber) and can be removed individually.
General improvements
- The blur effect behind open windows can now be switched on and off per user.
- Admin settings for artist stays: default values for fields as well as display settings for the component in the projects.
- Rework of the Business Intelligence module: more straightforward workflows and better overviews.
- The OIDC integration is finished — Active Directory or single sign-on can now be connected.
